Pineapple Farm Design (the Farm) is composed of an experienced, determined and talented husband and wife team with a combined 20 years experience in design. The Farm offers not too stuffy, not too relaxed perfectionism which comes from a passion for great design and a need to deliver a clear message.
Sebastian Stojek has been working in the graphic design field for over 10 years now honing his skills and looking for ways to expand his creative talent. He received his B.S. degree in visual communications from Drexel University in Philadelphia and has been enjoying designing ever since. He has worked both in the corporate and studio arenas and has gained experiences from each. He also completed a tour of duty working for a printer to further gain experience in the printing industry. He has always wanted to run his own design studio so after meeting his wife and finding out she too shared this dream, it was a clear and obvious sign of what was to come! In his free time (insert laugh reel here) he still enjoys renovating his and Renée's circa 1929 dutch colonial home. You might also catch him (outside from his home renovation/restoration duties) enjoying the outdoors, camping, hiking, biking, fishing, traveling, beer tasting or just gazing at the stars—rarely is he ever bored. Something you might not know about Sebastian: his laid back attitude is due to spending 10 adolescent years in the midwest and he owns a pair of ostrich skin cowboy boots.
Renée Stojek is a graduate of Delaware University and she has been giving her B.F.A. in graphic design degree a good workout. Currently, she is the art director of a dancewear company outside Philadelphia and is in charge of designing all the print collateral for the company. "She has grit, spunk, and likes to think outside the box...", so says the owner. It has always been a dream for Renée to own a design studio and she has always been inching closer to that dream. After meeting her husband and sharing her dreams, Pineapple Farm Design was conceived! And when she is not working you may find Renée sharpening her pallet of wines for she is an avid wine connoisseur (that's connoisseur not consumer), working on her and Sebastian's home, reading, camping, traveling, and shopping. A tidbit on Renée: she has a vast collection of vintage and modern handbags.
Nicodemus & Bishop are the heart & soul of the Farm. Through their vision and guidance they keep the studio on course and in-check. Nicodemus is very modest and kind hearted and refers to himself as a "silent partner" or "the man behind the curtain." You may recognize him at the studio right away since he wears his neutral, but very stylish, signature gray attire–he doesn't want to clash with anything. When caught napping he'll refer to it as deep creative thinking. He is very graceful, immaculate & clean and those traits are echoed in everything he does. He has a knack for repeating the same word over and over again, but you can't argue with a minimalist who knows what he wants. That signature attitude makes him who he is and a vital element to the studio.
Then there is Bishop–the new guy and youngest addition to the Farm. Bishop keeps the Farm lively and interesting to say the least. He too practices deep creative thinking through out the day. His curious demeanor and his "what'cha doing?" head nods reminds us that sometimes you need to take a step back from what you're doing to get a better overall perspective. And while you're up and away perspecting, could you throw the ball? |
